Olen ühe 2004 aasta manuaalkastiga highpower versiooni omanik, probleem on nimelt selline, et külmastpeast käivitub auto igakord ja probleemideta, aga kui juba mootori soojaks sõitnud olen peab oma 15 minutit ootama enne kui asi uuesti käivitub...
olen proovinud seda "gaas põhjas" käivitamist mida mõningates kohtades soovitatakse jms aga ei midagi, ainuke mis aitab on mingi natukese aja tagant uuesti proovida ja siis läheb raskustega asi tööle.
auto läbisõit natuke üle 60000km, ainult esinduses hooldatud, viimase poole aastaga kui probleemid hakkasid olen esindusele vist juba pea 50000.- andnud igasuguste paranduste vahetamiste eest ja siiani on probleem ikka sama ja pole mingitkipidi paremuse poole läinud. viimanekord kui uuesti rääkimas käisin lubasid et "uurivad" ja mingit aega mulle enam ei andnud kuna ütlesid, et ei oska rohkem midagi ette võtta!!
igasugused ideed teretulnud ja ehk kellelgi sarnane probleem olnud?

See on tüüpviga ja ühest vastust polegi, kohalikul teenindusel oma 5 autot samade probleemidega pidevalt hoolduses. USA -s läksid moootorid reacall -ga vahetusse. Meil siin teenindus ei oska mingit seisukohta võtta. Kord väitsid, et kui vale, st mitte spets Mazda õli kasutada, siis see juhtub ja aitab mootori kapremont. Samas manuli järgi õlinõudeid taga ajades ei ole seal mingit eiõli mainitud, seega poest vastavate parameetritega peaks kõlbama?

Osad väidavad, et ei tohi sõita lühikesi otsi, peab mootori soojaks saama ja siis enne seiskamist 4000 pööret sisse andma, et siis põletaks bensu eest ära ja läheks uuesti käima, sest see mittekäimaminemine olevat just nn bensuuputuse viga.

Vahest aitab ka kui eemaldada bensupumba kaitse, siis starteriga seniks käiata kuni tunned, et mootoril surve taha tekib, siis kaitse tagasi ja käivitada.

Vahest jälle aitab kui käivitades tiba lubab, siis imeõrnalt gaasipedaali puutud.

Pole küll rootoritega käsi määrinud aga viimane väide nn uputamise kohta on tuttav ka RX-7 kohta. Sel teemal sai miskil ajal räägitud ex RX-7 omanikuga "LLman", tema võitis sammuti ,et kui mootor pole ikka soojaks sõidetud, siis järgnev käivitamine raskendatud. Ilmselt on miski elektroonika käitumise viga, või omapära, mida aju ise veaks ei tunnista ja seega miskit veakoodi ka ei aktiveeri. Pead ilmselt leppima olukorraga, et mootor peab enne väljasuretamist olema töösoe ja laskma pöördesse, enne võtme 0 asendisse keeramist, nii et pöörded hakkavad langema peale süüte välja lülitamist, ehk teeb läbipuhke inertsiga.
Väheusutav, et meie esindus sellise "pisiprobleemi" pärast mootorit vahetama hakkab garantii korras.
PS Mul endisaegne tööauto tegi sammuti. Tol ajal oli kasutusel ZIL 130 :D

Nii mõneski ettevõttes on garantiiliste probleemide lahendamisega raskusi, ikka on tarbija süüdi, mitte valmistaja. Tavaliselt üritatakse ka omaenese suutmatust probleemile odavaima lahenduse leidmisel kliendile korraliks arve kaela veeretada.
Viimase väite võiks kinnitda ka sellega, et "tiitsei" on juba märkimisväärse summa annetanud tulemusteta remondi eest(kui vahetatud jupp pole probleemi lahendanud, siis klient ei pea seda ostma, ehk pangu originaal tagasi/kas sedasi tehakse meie teenedusvõrgus?). Tekkib küsimus, mille eest raha ära anti?
Kui probleem on hiljuti tekkinud, siis on toimunud mingid muudatused, mis muudatused(vea koodi ei registreerita mällu, kui vigase anduri prameetrid ei välju kriitilisest pirist). Ei tea, kuis RX-8 alu vigu otsib/leiab/salvestab. Kui ainult igat andurit omaette, siis on vast keerulisem, kui oleks miski seostusega vea registreerimine.
Kui jahutussüsteemi vedeliku temp andur annab liig madala temeratuuri infi, siis peaks olema rikastatud segu, mis väljendub ka suures(?) kütusekulus, mis iseenesest pole aju jaoks viga. sama jama võib ka tekidada Lambda andur.
Aga miks üritab mootorit ära uputada väljasuretamise ajaks?
Miski funktsioon on veel segu rikastamine/lahjendamine tühikäigul, kui on sidur alla vajutatud ja/või käik sisse lülitatud või ei ole sisse lülitatud(kui antud andur/lüliti rikkis/ei edasta vajalikku infi, siis aju ei saagi teada mootori nõudlusest, kohalt minek raskendatud, veakood puudub või segu rikkam kütuse kulu suurem mootori käitumise erinevus vähemärgatav/kui üldse arusaadav).
Sama versiooni esitamine ühes teises esinduses kutsus esile minu mõnitamise vastuvõtu meistri poolt. Pakuti, et soft ajus vajab vahetamist, tehtigi ära- tulemus=0. Aga omade jõududega pole nad minu probleemi lahendada suutnud(viga esineb ebakorrapäraselt ja esile kutsude sihilikult pole õnnestunud).
Ka on võimalik kütuse rõhu regulaator ei suuda rõhku madalamaks ümber lülitada/on kinni kiilunud või saab valet infi.
Aga äkki on õhulugeja sees kala?
Mitu varianti pakutud, kas neid on ka uuritud rem ettevõttes, ei tea ja kas ka vea põhjuseks on, pole kindel.

Mida õli kohta arvate? Mis õli siis kasutama peab? Kas õli ja käivitamise vahel on seos?

Mälu järgi on manualis kirjas, et kasutada tuleb
tavalist 5W-20 mootori õli, poes müüdavad on tavaliselt sellestki paremad.

Õli tüübi kohta on netis erinevat juttu, osad väidavad, et peab olema synt ja teised, et mitte mingil juhul:

Never use synthetic oil for an RX-8. The synthetic oil will produce a film on the inside of the engine because it does not burn with the gas. It will also void the warranty if you have problems and they find out about the synthetic oil use

I bought an rx-8 from a dealership who recommended sythetic oil, In fact before i picked it up they had just had the oil changed to the synthetic type. They said it was better...

Huvitav, kui service garantii ajal mootori vigadele kuulutatud recall -le omanikku ei kutsunud, kas siis saab seda nõuda hiljem?

ideeliselt peaks recall toimuma ka hiljem.. vähemasti nii on chrysleri puhul, kes on parandanud recalli ajal tulemata jäänud autod ka aastaid hiljem.. nt. sõber avastas ühe toreda lehekülje, kus sai kontrollida oma auto VINi järgi, kas on mingeid vigu, ja kas need on kõrvaldatud.. ja saigi teada, et 4 recalli - 2 on jäänud lahenduseta.. läks kenasti esindusse see väljaprint näpu vahel ja tehti 8000 eeki maksev toiming kenasti ära - vahetati ära rooli lintkaabel ja tagaluugi avamise süsteemis mingi vedru oli vigane. :)
niiet, peab mazdas uurimas ja peksmas käima :D

Rootormootori raske käivitumine on yldiselt tingitud kahest asjast:
1) bensu-uputus ehk kylma mootori väljasuretamine
2) kompressioon hakkab kaduma ehk "apex"i tihendid kulunud.

Edit: Raamatus on nõutav 5W-30 õli ja pole mainitud kas sünt või mineraal. Kui see oleks oluline, peaks see olema IGAL POOL ja PUNASEGA, sest rootormootor kulutab õli, soovitav on ju iga tankimise ajal õlitaset kontrollida...

Service esindaja väitis, et vale õli ei tohi kasutada, muidu rikub rootori lamellid.

Kirjalikule pärimisele, et mis on vale õli pole siiani vastust saanud. Raamatu järgi rida ajades ka vastust ei saa. Loogika ütleb, et kui pole eraldi tüüpi manitud, siis alati võib panna paremat, kui nõutud. Service jutu järgi aga peab panema halvemat.

Saa nüüd aru?

USA -s isegi Rx8 omaniku tegid grupihagi Mazda vastu sama asja pärast, sest raamatus soovitatud õli olevat mootoritele halvasti mõjunud.

Kas peaks siin samamoodi tegema?

2004 RX-8 vehicles built prior to March 12, 2004
• VIN Range: JM1FE17**40100001 - 40135536
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience the following concerns:
• Engine fails to start (cranks but no start) at cold engine temperature. This is caused by flooded spark plugs
due to slightly rich air/fuel ratio for cold starting.
• Engine is hard to start after short distance drive without engine reaching normal operating temperature at
cold ambient temperature. This is caused by lower engine compression due to seals icing by moisture inside
engine.
• Engine has lack of acceleration power and / or knocking when driving at more than approx. 6000 RPM or at
high altitudes. This is caused by poor combustion gas sealing due to the lack of amount of oil supplied from
the metering oil pump.
• MIL illuminates with DTC P2107/2108 stored in memory. This is caused by sub CPU – main CPU communication
error after jump-starting the engine due to dead battery.
• MIL illuminates with DTC P2402 stored in memory. This is caused by improper threshold setting for DMTL
motor electric current tolerance.
• MIL illuminates with DTC P0420 stored in memory. This is caused by improper threshold setting for rear O2
sensor output tolerance.
NOTE: UNDER THE MAZDA SPECIAL PROGRAM (MSP04), ALL CURRENT DEALER INVENTORY AND
RETAILED VEHICLES FOUND TO BE WITHIN THE ABOVE VIN RANGES, AND PRODUCED
PRIOR TO MARCH 12, 2004, MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPAIRED ACCORDING TO THE
INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS SERVICE BULLETIN. THIS INCLUDES CUSTOMERS

Inspect and repair all current dealer inventory according to the procedures contained in this service bulletin.
RETAIL VEHICLES:
When a retail vehicle is brought into the dealer for any type of repair or scheduled maintenance, inspect and
repair the vehicle according to the procedures contained in this service bulletin.
VEHICLE INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Verify the vehicle is within the following VIN range, AND built prior to March 12, 2004:
• VIN Range: JM1FE17**40100001 - 40135536
- If the vehicle is within the above VIN range, AND built prior to March 12, 2004, proceed to Step 1.
- If the vehicle is not within the above VIN range, return the vehicle to the customer or inventory.
2. Perform a Vehicle Status Inquiry using your eMDCS System and inspect the vehicle for an Authorized Modification
Label MSP04 attached to the vehicle’s hood.
NOTE: Verify the campaign number as the vehicle may have multiple labels.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify vehicle is within VIN range.
2. Reboot WDS PTU before performing the next procedure.
3. Using WDS B35.5 or later software, reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration (refer to “Calibration Information”
table) by following the “Module Reprogramming” procedure.
NOTE:
• Always update the WDS PTU first, then install the needed calibration file that WDS shows during
PCM reprogramming. Go to “WDS Calibration” on ESI and download the “update” file. If the
PTU is not updated to the latest WDS calibration level, the calibration file will not install into the
PTU.
• It is not necessary to remove any fuses or relays during PCM reprogramming when the WDS
screen prompts you to do so. You may accidentally stop power to one of the PCM terminals and
cause the PCM to be blanked, or you may receive error messages during the WDS reprogramming
procedure.
• WDS shows the calibration part numbers after programming the PCM.
• Please be aware that PCM calibration part numbers and file names listed in any Service Bulletin
may change due to future releases of WDS software, and additional revisions made to those
calibrations for service related concerns.
• When reprogramming a PCM, WDS will always display the “latest” calibration P/N available for
that vehicle. If any calibration has been revised/updated to contain new information for a new
service concern/issue, it will also contain all previously released calibrations.
• When performing this procedure, if the WDS PTU is not docked and connected to 115V-120V,
we recommend that a battery charger be installed on the vehicle battery and turned ON to a
maximum charge of no more than 20 AMPS to keep the vehicle battery up to capacity. If you
exceed 20 AMPS, it will damage the WDS PTU.
4. After performing the PCM reprogramming procedure, verify the repair by starting the engine and making
sure there are no MIL illumination or abnormal warning lights present.
NOTE: After PCM reprogramming, it is no longer necessary to road test the vehicle to “relearn” KAM
(Keep Alive Memory).

5. Place an “Authorized Modification” label (P/N 9999-95-AMDC-97) with the new calibration information on
the drivers side “A” pillar, near the door hinges.
6. Verify repair.
7. Complete the blue “Authorized Modification” label (9999-95-065A-00) with the Campaign number “MSP04”
written on the sticker and affix it to the vehicle’s hood.
8. Return the vehicle to the customer.

BULLETIN NOTE
• This bulletin supersedes the previous bulletin 01-004/05, issued 12/01/2005. The DESCRIPTION, REPAIR
PRODCEDURE, PART(S) INFORMATION and WARRANTY INFORMATION sections has been changed.
• This TSB applies only to verified customer complaints. If Emission Recall 4206F has NOT been completed,
perform this Service Bulletin first, then complete Emission Recall 4206F.
APPLICABLE MODEL(S) / VINS
2004-2007 RX-8
DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience difficulty starting (cranks no start). This may occur after driving the vehicle a
short distance without engine reaching normal operating temperature. Examples: starting a vehicle and moving
it to wash it, engine stall due to mis-application of clutch then restart. This commonly occurs at port facilities or
dealer lots where vehicles are frequently started cold, moved for short distances and then turned off. This concern
may also occur due to low cranking RPM during engine starting.
A cranks, no start condition may be caused by fuel flooding resulting in either fouled spark plugs or lower than
normal compression. Carefully follow REPAIR PROCEDURE “A” and refer to VIN application to determine necessary
repair action.
NOTE:
• After repairs, provide customers with CUSTOMER INFORMATION on the last page of this bulletin
(for customers to try after a “CRANKS, NO START” condition, before towing to dealership).
REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”
1. Inspect battery.
Some vehicles will require battery replacement depending on VIN / production range, and / or visual identification.
2005 and later Model Year vehicles DO NOT require battery replacement unless battery fails
testing. Use the inspection procedure below to determine if battery replacement is necessary.
a. Is the vehicle built after June 1, 2004 (starting with VIN JM1FE17******139714)
- YES – Battery type is OK (Panasonic JIS 75D23L), go to STEP 2.
- NO – Battery inspection is required, proceed to STEP 1b.
b. Remove battery cover and inspect battery label. The following batteries are approved and DO NOT
require replacement. If the vehicle’s battery type matches one of the following descriptions, proceed
to STEP 2.
• OEM Panasonic battery JIS specification “75D23L”
• Mazda Genuine replacement battery part number 0000-80-6535-WB

• Interstate brand “MTP35” battery.
- If the vehicle’s battery type matches one of the following descriptions, proceed to STEP 2.
- If the vehicles battery type does not match the above descriptions, replace with Mazda Genuine
replacement battery # 0000-80-6535-WB. Proceed to STEP 3 after battery replacement.
NOTE:
• Dark current reading fluctuates with PATS light.
2. Verify battery is fully charged and charge if necessary. If battery charge is low, check for dark current (backup
current) draw. Revised max current draw is 40-50 MA.
NOTE:
• Hard/no start concerns may be caused by lower than specification cranking compression at
engine start. Charge and inspect vehicle battery, replace with 0000-80-6535-WB if necessary. If
battery replacement is necessary, make sure to order through the Mazda parts system. DO NOT
place orders through Interstate directly. Also, inspect battery for correct part number (0000-80-
6535-WB) and CCA rating (640) before installation. It is not necessary to test batteries, and / or
attach Midtronics printout to the repair order when battery is replaced that is not on the approved
list of batteries in STEP 1b. For warranty reimbursement of batteries listed under STEP 1b,
Midtronics printout indicating battery failure must be attached to repair order and readings must
be documented on warranty claim.

3. Disconnect the secondary air injection pump electrical connector (B1-04).
NOTE:
• This will protect the catalytic converter by preventing rapid light off due to unburned fuel purging
from the engine in the following steps.
CAUTION:
• The following steps will force un-burnt fuel from the combustion chambers through the spark
plug holes. Use caution not to create sparks or other sources of ignition during these steps.
Perform this procedure in a well ventilated area.
4. Remove all 4 spark plugs from the engine. See workshop manual section 01-18 SPARK PLUG REMOVAL /
INSTALLATION.
5. Disconnect Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor (ESPS) B1-27.
NOTE:
• This will cut fuel injection and spark while performing the procedure.

6. Place cloth near spark plug holes to absorb fuel residue.
7. Crank the engine until all fuel is purged from spark plug holes. (Do not crank engine longer than 10 seconds.
If more than 10 seconds is required, wait 5 seconds in between cranking.) Perform this procedure in a well
ventilated area.
8. Connect ESPS connector B1-27.
9. Install revised spark plugs.
10. Go to ENGINE STARTER INSPECTION / IDENTIFICATION on to determine if engine starter replacement is
necessary.
11. Attempt to start engine without depressing accelerator pedal.
- If the engine starts, go to STEP 12.
- If engine fails to start, the engine compression may be lower than specification due to poor sealing. Go to
REPAIR PROCEDURE “B”.
12. Keep engine running between 1500-2000 RPM until engine speed has stabilized. Maintain this engine
speed until all smoke has dissipated and / or engine has come to full operating temperature.
NOTE:
• Do not race the engine, this may cause catalyst damage.
13. Shut engine off.
14. Connect the secondary air injection pump connector B1-04.
15. Erase all DTCs and confirm repairs.
REPAIR PROCEDURE “B”
1. Disconnect Eccentric Shaft Position Sensor (ESPS) B1-27.
NOTE:
• This will cut fuel injection & spark while performing the procedure.

2. Remove the front vacuum plug from the passenger side of the lower intake manifold.
NOTE:
• 2006 model year and later vehicles have vacuum hoses attached to these ports for the PCV system.
Disconnect these hoses from the lower intake manifold ports one at a time when performing
this procedure. These hoses do not need to be plugged once disconnected.
3. Fabricate a vacuum line (About 2 feet in length) & attach to front vacuum port as shown in the illustration.
CAUTION:
• DO NOT attempt to service both vacuum ports at the same time. Perform procedure for front
port, then perform procedure for rear port.

4. Add 10-15cc’s of 5W-20 engine oil to a small container.
5. Insert vacuum line into the bottom of the container.
6. Crank over engine until all oil is drawn into the intake manifold. (Do not depress accelerator pedal during
this step.)
NOTE:
• If oil cannot be drawn into engine due to low vacuum, add oil through leading spark plug holes,
or use a syringe & inject through vacuum lines & into the intake manifold. Add 10-15cc’s of 5W-
20 engine oil to each rotor.
7. Reinstall leading spark plug if removed during STEP 6.
- On 2004-2005, disconnect vacuum line from intake manifold & reinstall vacuum plug.
- On 2006 model year and later, disconnect vacuum line from intake manifold and reinstall PCV vacuum
line.
8. Repeat STEPS 2-7 for rear vacuum port.
9. Connect ESPS connector B1-27.
10. Attempt to start engine without depressing accelerator pedal.
- If engine starts, proceed to STEP 12 in REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”.
- If engine fails to start, check engine compression & follow diagnosis according to workshop manual section
01-03 NO.6 CRANKS NORMALLY BUT WILL NOT START.

ENGINE STARTER INSPECTION / IDENTIFICATION
Some vehicles will require engine starter replacement depending on VIN / production range, and / or visual
identification. Use the inspection procedure below to determine if starter replacement is necessary.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES:
1. Is the VIN at or below JM1FE17N* ** 148961?
- NO – Starter replacement is not necessary, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”.
- YES – Go to STEP 2.
2. Inspect vehicle’s starter label to determine starter type. Starter label can be seen under hood on driver’s
side.
- If label indicates “N3H2 A”, replace starter. See workshop manual section 01-19 STARTER REMOVAL /
INSTALLATION. After starter replacement, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”.
- If label indicates “N3H2 B”, “N3Z2” or later, do not replace starter, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE
“A”.

MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLES:
1. Is the VIN at or below JM1FE173*** ** 150745?
- NO – Starter replacement is not necessary, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”.
- YES – Go to STEP 2.
2. Inspect vehicle’s starter label to determine starter type. Starter label can be seen with vehicle on hoist and
using a mirror.
- If label indicates “N3H1”, replace starter. See workshop manual section 01-19 STARTER REMOVAL /
INSTALLATION. After starter replacement, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE “A”.
- If label indicates “N3H1 A”, “N3Z1” or later, do not replace starter, go to STEP 11 in REPAIR PROCEDURE
“A”.
CAUTION:
• When installing the new starter, use care that the starter terminals “B” and “S” and related wire harness
do not come in contact with the heat shield. Clearance between the heat shield and the terminals
should be as follow:
- 10mm between corner of heat shield and White “B” terminal cover.
- 15mm between heat shield and Black “S” terminal connector.
• If clearance is not as specified, bend heat shield as necessary. Ensure that after bending heat
shield at least 10mm clearance is present between bent section of heat shield and vehicle body.
• USE CARE THAT THE BLACK “S” TERMINAL CONNECTOR DOES NOT COME IN CONTACT
WITH HEAT SHIELD AFTER INSTALLATION.

PART(S) INFORMATION
NOTE:
• When vehicles experience a engine cranks but does not start concern due to fuel flooding, Mazda
recommends the use of the optional “HOT” type leading spark plugs (NGK RE6C-L). The optional
“HOT” type spark plug retains more heat which may prevent fouling of spark plugs when the engine
is started during cold ambient temperatures. Continue to use the standard spark plug set (N3Y3-18-
S30) when spark plug replacement is necessary for vehicle concerns other than no start due to fuel
flooding. EXAMPLE: Scheduled maintenance replacement interval, engine misfire, etc.…

CUSTOMER INFORMATION
NOTE:
• After repairs, provide customers with a copy of this page to try during a “CRANKS, NO START” condition.
If necessary, fax or scan and e-mail this page to customers who are experiencing a crank/no
start condition in the field, before towing to dealership.
WARMING THE ENGINE
The Mazda RENESIS Rotary Engine provides exceptional performance dynamics and reduces exhaust emissions,
allowing the RX-8 to meet the strict Tier 2 emissions classification in the U.S. Mazda achieved this in part
by the design of the engine ports and adopting a sequential dynamic air intake system. Because of its unique
design, it is important to warm up the engine before shutting it off. Ideally, the engine coolant temperature gauge
needle should reach the middle of the normal operating range before shutting off the engine.
ROTARY ENGINE STARTING TIPS
Repeated 1 to 2 second cranking duration may cause excessive flooding and further aggravate an already
present no-start condition. Mazda recommends cranking the engine for the maximum duration of 8 seconds
when trying to start the vehicle during a no-start condition.
DE-CHOKING PROCEDURE WHEN ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START
If the engine does not start, try the following procedure to start the engine using the de-choke mode. Failure to
do so may aggravate the no start condition.
Cranking Tips
- Attempt to start the engine up to 3 times.
- Allow engine to crank a maximum of 8 seconds when attempting to start.
- Allow minimum of 3 seconds between cranking sessions. If the starter motor is not allowed to cool
between cranking sessions, the starter may spin too slow to start the engine.
1. Depress and hold the accelerator pedal to the floor and crank the engine for 7-8 seconds. (This will clean
out any unburned fuel from the combustion chamber)
2. Release the ignition key to stop cranking and wait 3 seconds.
3. Release the accelerator pedal and start the engine. If the engine starts while performing Step 1, the engine
will rev up. Immediately release the ignition key to stop cranking and remove your foot from the accelerator
pedal.
• Do not keep holding the ignition switch in the START position over 10 seconds if the engine does not
start. This may result in a weakened or dead battery.
• Avoid racing the engine or sudden take off right after starting the engine.
• If the engine still fails to start following the De-choking procedure, have your vehicle inspected by your
Mazda Dealer.

Esindus väidab, et nemad küsivad tehaselt mida teha ja tehas ei vasta midagi konkreetselt, viitab, et kui on vale õli kasutatud, siis ongi mootor läbi.

Samas siiani pole kuskil kirjas mis see vale või õige õli on või kas sellel õlil üldse mingit tähtsust on.

Ei tule. Tuleb ära kaotada õlipritse kabrisse ning kasutada kahetaktilise õli bensu sees ning synteetilist mootoris sees ;)
Nii ei teki kambris synteetilise õli kasutamisel "kilekihti" kuna teda sinna enam ei satu lihtsalt.
vähemalt minu rx7 mootori puhul on selline asi võimalik

What oil should I use?

First, there is the synthetic vs. dino debate. There is no consensus to this issue. Some experts recommend synthetic, others insist on regular oil. Early on, synthetic oil did not burn well in the combustion chamber - but this is not an issue with modern synthetics. What matters is that it gets changed on schedule -- every 3000 miles or less. Some owners choose to change at 1500 miles to offset the fact that the oil cooler(s) is not drained during an oil change. The proper weight is 20w-50 in warm climates and 10w-30 in any place that gets cold in winter.

Most FD owners run from 10w-30 to a 20w-50. It depends on whether the car will experience use in cold winter conditions, or extended track conditions. In either case, the thicker 20w-50 is usually ok since fuel dilution will occur and thin the oil. Very thin oils (0w-40) used in some newer cars are not a good choice.
